The One Bullet Job is a heist puzzle game now available on mobile. It’s the usual list of tasks from the heist manual: break into the target building, grab the cash, avoid the guards, and make it out before you run out of moves. But, there’s one problem. You only get one bullet!
Everything happens on a grid. You can dash up to three tiles, wait for a patrol to move out of your way, or use your bullet to take down a guard blocking your path. Once you’re done, the guards get their turn. Every guard follows a set route, and their sightlines are clearly shown on the board.
You only need to grab one bag of cash to open the exit and earn one star. If you want two stars, you’ll need to collect every bag in the room, and getting three means finishing the job within par. So, you can play it safe and get out with the loot, or take a few extra risks if you’re trying to get the best possible score.
The One Bullet Job offers 120 jobs spread across 20 chapters
Each chapter introduces a new mechanic. Some jobs introduce purple relays that you can shoot to open shutters, which uses up your bullet. Other rooms are all about patience, with situations where waiting for a patrol to pass is the smartest way forward.
Jobs within each chapter go up and down in difficulty. Every chapter finishes with a finale that brings together the mechanics you’ve learned so far. And there’s some special loot involved in the finales, with each one featuring an item to steal and a trophy to win.
The Harbour Clock, The Brass Telescope, The Microfilm, and The House Chips are among the rewards you’ll encounter as you work through the campaign. Each chapter also has its own venue, including places like a bank, an art gallery, the docks, a watchtower, a government bureau, and a casino.
The One Bullet Job is available on the Google Play Store.
