Cubism, the critically acclaimed puzzle game, has announced a free update to support the new Steam Frame headset. The update will enable passthrough gameplay, and the title has now been officially Steam Frame Verified.

Cubism has been around for a while – it originally launched on SteamVR and Quest back in 2020, and the premise is simple. Assemble increasingly complex shapes out of colourful blocks. It’s addictive, chilled out and surprisingly challenging. With regards to this new update for the Steam Frame, here’s what the team had to say: “Cubism will receive an update on Steam to support the launch of Steam Frame, optimising the game for Valve’s new headset by adding an Android version as the default when playing standalone. This upcoming build notably monochrome passthrough to Cubism, a feature that was previously exclusive to other mobile headsets like the Meta Quest, Samsung Galaxy XR, and Pico.

    Key Features:

    • 90 challenging puzzles over two campaigns
    • Black-and-white passthrough support on Steam Frame
    • Light and dark VR modes
    • Mod support
    • Built-in level editor

Cubism is available from the Steam Store and is currently discounted by 30%.
