If you love puzzle games that teach a little programming and automation - If Red Then Stop looks like your next visit. A demo with Native Linux support has just been released.
Coming from the indie team Kerzoven from Switzerland, they previously made Of Life and Land in 2025, a city builder paired with a rich nature simulation. Now they're trying something a little different, inspired by the founder's frustration with a new traffic light system on his commute that was causing major problems.
Here you will become an engineer of sorts while you learn the fundamentals of state machines in automation, as you attempt to optimize traffic and not smash vehicles into each other. Then break it all as you try to optimize it further and watch a bit of chaos unfold.
