Puzzle Metroidvania MONOMOON Launches November 11 for Steam

Gentle Giant Games has announced that exploration-driven puzzle Metroidvania MONOMOON will launch for PC via Steam on November 11, 2026. It will launch at $11.99 with a 10% discount.

The team is describing the structure as a “Metroidbrainia,” with knowledge and experimentation forming part of progression alongside traditional Metroidvania movement. Some mechanics and solutions are intentionally left unexplained for players to figure out through environmental clues.

Players can manipulate moonlight to open paths and reveal clues while searching environments. Certain creatures can also be interacted with to access previously unreachable areas.

The main experience is expected to take around 10 to 15 hours to complete. Additional puzzles and hidden content are available for players who want to explore beyond the main path.

Its menus and interface support English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
