Extremely OK Games, Noel Berry and Liam Berry have announced that City of None is in development for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.
In this action and puzzle-platforming adventure, you will have the chance to explore a metropolis filled with strange spirits, wicked beasts and ferocious robots.
The city has five sectors, which will each present their own distinctive environments, playstyles and four-colour palettes. With winding pathways, unique items to recover and enemies to topple, you must upgrade your equipment with rare resources as you fight to reclaim the city’s future from its ravenous rulers.
“We made many games together when we were kids. Everything from small level-based platformers to quick arcade games. Creating a full-blown adventure game was always our dream, but was out of reach,” Liam Berry and Noel Berry explain. “After I made Celeste with Maddy Thorson and friends, we finally had the opportunity. This is the game we always wanted to make. We’re very excited to share it with you.”
The developer has outlined the game’s key features, which include:
- Discover unique items and power-ups that grant you new platforming abilities.
- Venture by train to the city’s five sectors and explore their many pathways.
- Meet many friendly – and not so friendly! – city inhabitants through your adventure.
City of None will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2027.
